Home >> Our Projects >> Eliminate Discrimination. Not the Girl Child

Today girls like Sheetal in the nomadic tribes in the Rann of Kutch have found a voice to express themselves. This, while their parents and communities showcase spirited resilience and struggle to obtain better facilities and opportunities for their children with the support of CRY UK partner Gram Swaraj Sangh (GSS).

You brought in change. Through the efforts of CRY UK supported project Gram Swaraj Sangh (GSS), you opened children’s minds, made them confident to ask for their rights. You made sure that Sheetal and others returned to school by tackling the social and economic issues that stopped their education.

Today, girl aspirations still remain thwarted in many of the marginalised village communities in India. Let us pledge to usher in change for them as well.

Saying no to child labour, yes to education

Project Gram Swaraj Sangh (GSS) works to make communities self-reliant and remove the root causes that deny children their basic rights.
