From cleaning tables in a restaurant to learning math tables in a classroom
After finishing primary school, little Bullet was compelled to work in a restaurant to support his family. He cleaned tables, mopped floors and served dishes.
CRY UK partner Jago Foundation, operating in Jharkhand, in the Eastern part of India heard about Bullet's story and spoke to his parents. They counseled Bullet's parents about the importance of education and informed them about the local government programmes which benefit children.
With Jago's encouragement and efforts Bullet was removed from the clutches of child labour and re-enrolled into school.
Today Bullet, a bright student is pursuing his secondary education.
